At Kathaa, we aim to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. However, if you experience any issues with your order, we are here to help.

This policy explains the conditions under which returns, exchanges, or refunds may be processed.


Returns (India)

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you may request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The request must be made within 15 days from the delivery date.

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, and in original condition.

  • All original tags, packaging, and invoice should be included with the returned item.

To initiate a return, please contact our support team with your order details.

Once the request is approved, further instructions for the return process will be provided.


Exchange Policy

Exchanges may be permitted for size issues or manufacturing defects, subject to product availability.

Items eligible for exchange must meet the same conditions as returns:

  • Unused

  • Original packaging and tags intact

  • Return request within the allowed timeframe

If the requested item is unavailable for exchange, customers may receive a refund or store credit depending on the situation.


Refund Policy

Refunds are issued under the following circumstances:

  1. The order is cancelled before it has been shipped.

  2. The product delivered is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered.

  3. The product cannot be replaced due to stock unavailability.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method used during checkout.

Refund processing typically takes 5–7 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

For Cash on Delivery orders, customers may be asked to provide bank details for refund processing.


Discounted Items

Products purchased during sales, promotional offers, or with discount codes may be considered final sale, unless the item has a manufacturing defect or was delivered incorrectly.

In such cases, exchange or store credit may be offered instead of a refund.


Store Credit (Digital Credit)

In certain situations, customers may be issued store credit instead of a refund.

Store credit:

  • Can be used for future purchases on the Kathaa website

  • Must be applied during checkout

  • May have a validity period specified at the time of issuance

Any order value exceeding the store credit amount must be paid by the customer.


International Orders

For international shipments, exchanges are generally not available due to logistical constraints.

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and order details.

Refunds for international orders will not include customs duties, taxes, or import charges paid in the destination country.


Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement, provided the order has not yet entered the production or shipping stage.

After this period, cancellation may not be possible, particularly for made-to-order items.
